The Swiss/World Bank Fully Funded Scholarship Grant (S/WBFFG) is open to all International Students from all over the world with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their countries development efforts.
The World Bank Scholarships Grant contributes to the World Bank Group’s mission of forging new dynamic approaches to capacity development and knowledge sharing to International Students all over the world.
It is an important component of the Bank Group’s efforts to promote economic development and shared prosperity through investing in education and developing human resources in the world.
Since 1982, the Program has helped to form a pool of over 12,000 well-trained and experienced development professionals, transforming countries and positively impacting future generations worldwide.
HOST INSTITUTIONS/PROGRAMS OF STUDY:
The Program offers scholarships for over 200 Preferred Programs (Undergraduate program, Graduate program, Master program, MBA program and PhD program) spanning a wide array of development topics at universities in United States, Canada and Switzerland in key areas of development, including economic policy management, tax policy, and infrastructure management.
The scholarship makes provision of the following:
Full Tuition fee, Monthly living stipend, Round-trip airfare, Health insurance, Travel allowance, Accomodation
The applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be an International Student from any country in the world
- Be in good health
- An energetic, positive attitude
- Student’s academic achievements
- Proficiency in English Language
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in the sector selected
